Moreover, the system reduces the heat and humidity of the supply air, which significantly reduces the dehumidification load for the air conditioner compared to other systems that do not employ a heat and humidity exchanger.

Whether in the bedroom, home office or in the entire home - odors and moisture should be reliably transported to the outside, while fresh supply air entering the interior should be pre-cooled as well as have its humidity content reduced. The VLR 70 S represents a remarkable advancement in decentralized ventilation technology by employing an innovative aluminium heat exchanger to cool down and to remove up to 50% of the humidity of the incoming supply air. The ventilation units are working in pairs per room, ensuring that the pressure in the room is always balanced. One unit supplies fresh air while the other unit extracts. After 40 seconds the fans reverse direction to allow the heat exchanger to recharge by cooling it down with the extract air.
